Truck, Tailgate & Freight Equipment Requirements

Tell dispatch exactly what vehicle and equipment you have before accepting a load. SpeediiDelivery uses 26-foot straight/box trucks for pallet freight; other equipment must be confirmed for the assignment.

CONFIRM YOUR CAPACITY
Provide the usable cargo dimensions, payload and practical skid capacity. Confirm door clearance and whether the load requires a dock, tailgate or other loading equipment. Never assume a quoted skid count is suitable without checking the actual dimensions and weight.

TAILGATE AND PALLET HANDLING
Tell dispatch whether your truck has a working tailgate and its rated capacity, and whether you carry a suitable pallet jack. Confirm that the freight, pallet jack and handling method are compatible with the equipment rating and site conditions. Escalate oversized, overweight or unsafe handling requirements before loading.

CARRY AND CHECK
Have appropriate straps and load bars, a safety vest and any site-required protective equipment. Carry a charged smartphone with a data plan and charger for the driver app. Keep the cargo area clean and equipment in serviceable condition.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
Refrigeration, flatbed, boom, Moffett or other specialist equipment is assignment-specific. Obtain dispatch confirmation of the requirements and your equipment before accepting.

IF THE LOAD DOES NOT MATCH
Stop and contact dispatch if the freight, access or equipment requirement differs from the booking. Send the task reference and clear details; do not attempt unsafe loading or unloading.
