Restarting a Task & Correcting Mistakes
If you start the wrong task or need to retry a failed delivery, tell dispatch what happened before changing the record.
RESTART A TASK
Open the affected task, open the options menu at the top right and look for Restart Task. Use it when available and appropriate after confirming the next step with dispatch. Labels and available actions may vary with the app version and account permissions.
FAILED DELIVERY
Keep the actual failure reason, notes and photos. A retry is a new operational step; do not remove evidence of the first attempt. Confirm the address, appointment and dispatch authorization before starting again.
ALREADY MARKED COMPLETE?
Report the task reference and the correction needed to dispatch. Do not create duplicate tasks or upload proof from a different shipment to repair the record.
Do not delete or cancel an assigned task yourself unless dispatch specifically instructs you to do so. Verify the resulting status and that any changes have synced.
