Owner-Operator Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Welcome to SpeediiDelivery! This guide explains how our Owner-Operators (Owner-Ops) work with us and the standards we expect for smooth operations.

  • Always reply quickly to chats, calls, texts, or emails from dispatch.

  • Tell dispatch ASAP if you:

    • Have a delay

    • Break down

    • Are in an accident

    • Have an emergency affecting your load


🚚 Vehicle & Equipment
  • Your vehicle must be clean, well-maintained, and suitable for LTL or FTL loads.

  • Keep all maintenance up to date.

  • Minimum cargo insurance coverage: $100,000.

  • SpeediiDelivery may require company branding (magnets or decals) on your vehicle.

  • Equipment required:

    • Straps

    • Load bars

    • Safety vest

    • Smartphone with a data plan for the driver app


📦 Daily Operations
  • Check your daily load list in the Driver App or dispatch emails.

  • Confirm your loads quickly after assignment.

  • Complete pickups and deliveries on time.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.


🏢 Pickup & Delivery Process


At Pickup:

  • Confirm shipment details (skid count, weight, instructions).

  • Take photos if required.

  • Collect correct paperwork.


At Delivery:

  • Get clear Proof of Delivery (POD).

  • Follow customer site rules.

  • Contact dispatch immediately for issues like:

    • Refused shipments

    • Damaged freight

    • Changes in delivery instructions


📝 Proof of Delivery (POD)


  • Upload your POD immediately in the Driver App.

  • Acceptable POD includes:

    • Signed bill of lading (BOL)

    • Electronic signature in the app

    • Clear photo of signed paperwork

Note: Missing PODs may delay your payment.

🔒 Cargo Handling & Security


  • Always secure your loads with straps or load bars.

  • Never leave freight unattended in unsafe areas.

  • Report damages or shortages before leaving the shipper or consignee.


🤝 Customer Service
  • Be polite and professional.

  • Do not discuss separate business deals directly with customers.

  • Represent SpeediiDelivery with respect.


⚠️ Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.

  • Comply with hours-of-service laws.

  • Keep licenses, insurance, and permits valid and updated.


🚫 No-Show & Missed Pickups
  • Missing a pickup is serious.

  • Three (3) no-shows can lead to suspension or termination.

  • Contact dispatch immediately if you can’t complete a load.


💰 Payment & Settlement
  • Payments are issued weekly (every Friday).

  • Payouts range from 70–80% of revenue (as per your agreement).

  • Payment depends on:

    • Completing loads accurately

    • Submitting PODs on time

🗂️ Insurance & Documentation
  • Maintain at least $50,000 cargo insurance.

  • Add SpeediiDelivery as Additional Insured on your Certificate of Insurance (COI).

  • Provide updated documents when requested.


🔐 Confidentiality & Non-Solicitation
  • Never share customer details with outside parties.

  • Do not try to solicit business directly from SpeediiDelivery customers.

  • Your confidentiality and non-solicitation obligations continue for 24 months after ending your relationship with SpeediiDelivery.


🔄 Updates
  • SpeediiDelivery may update this SOP at any time.

  • Updates are shared via:

  • You are responsible for staying up to date.
